It was a great day had by all!

At 2pm we gathered under the famous Surfers Paradise sign for the very first Drag Show on the beach, where Channel 7 and Channel 9 joined us!

 

Watching from a safe distance were the Police  Liaison officers, Meter Boys and a Meter Maid, and  Councillor Darren Taylor.

Following the drag shows and media interviews we  made our way through Cavil Mall for the  first ever LGBTIQ unofficial Parade. Meeting up for afternoon drinks at the Island RoofTop Bar.
